1. LOOK-UP DUALLY-ELIGIBLE COVERAGE ONLINE Coverage information for Dually-Eligible beneficiaries can be found by going to Medicaid’s website and using their eMevs system.
1. Go to www.njmmis.com 2. Click on Provider Registration 3. All asterisk fields must be completed for registration a. Provider name b. Address c. City d. State e. Zip f. Primary Medicaid Provider 7-digit ID g. Telephone # h. Are you registering for access to Medicaid or Charity Care reports? 4. Optional fields are: E-mail address and Fax number. 5. Upon completion, click submit. 6. A registered letter with a log in and password is mailed to the provider within 48 hours of receipt by the Unisys Helpdesk.
2. MEDICARE PART D OPEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION Many of your customers may be coming to you with questions about Medicare Part D’s open enrollment and which plan would be best for them. CCRX (Member Health) and AARP plans have two of the most inclusive formularies of available plans. You can view the plan’s formularies and use other plan search tools on their websites. As per our recent discussion, the IPA Board recommends that you consider the following plans when evaluating your patients’ needs.

NPI INFORMATION If you are having trouble submitting claims with NPI numbers to NJ Medicaid, check your qualifier codes (usually under other payor information). To submit an NPI, you would need to change the qualifier code to 01.
