To: IPA NY Members From: Heather Rodgers 11/15/07 ACT NOW!!!! 1. MEDICARE PART D OPEN ENROLLMENT STARTS TODAY Now is our chance to assist self-enrolling beneficiaries into plans like Community CCRx – MemberHealth if they meet their coverage requirements.
2. AUTO-ENROLL PATIENTS FOR EPIC AND MEDICAID The State is currently working on formulary comparisons for these patients and will be auto-enrolling them into a plan the meets their medication needs. The good news is that CCRx – MemberHealth will be an auto-enroll plan since it meets the NY benchmark. If the beneficiary needs to contact the State for any reason, they can call the EPIC at 1‑800‑332‑3742 or Medicaid at 1‑877‑472‑8411.
NOTE: As you may know CCRx does not offer mail order and has a MTM program that will pay pharmacies for disease management services. If you need plan information, formularies, enrollment materials, would like to schedule an enroller from Community CCRx Outreach Services or any other information on CCRx, please visit www.ccrx.net.
