1. NPI LOOK-UP NOW AVAILABLE The searchable NPI database is now available at www.nppes.cms.hhs.gov . It is possible to search the NPI numbers for Individual Providers and Organizational Providers. Click the Search the NPI Registry link (on the left side of the page) and select the provider type. The site allows you to search by name, address, and zip code.
2. NEW JERSEY PRESCRIPTION DRUG RETAIL PRICE REGISTRY NOW ONLINE The online registry contains the prices reported through Unisys claims to the state by New Jersey pharmacies for the 150 most-frequently prescribed prescription drugs and is available at https://www6.state.nj.us/LPSCA_DRUG/search.jsp. The registry allows users to search specific prescription drug pricing by zip code. Additionally, this same information can be obtained by calling the New Jersey Prescription Drug Price Registry toll free at 1-800-242-5846. Pharmacies should check their zip code to make sure your pricing information is correct. The prices will be obtained from claims your pharmacy has submitted to Medicaid/ PAAD or any other state insurance program, and will be updated weekly. Please be sure to check your Usual & Customary (U&C) fields to make sure the price submitted is accurate. If you have not submitted a claim through Unisys for any of these drugs (for each dosage), there will be no U&C price listed for your pharmacy. You may wish to provide the website or phone number to an inquiring consumer. IPA will update you as this program evolves.
