NJ Board of
Pharmacy Extends Deadline for Registration of Pharmacy Technicians to
December 1st
Because of
internal delays in creating the necessary forms and procedures in time
for the March 2nd deadline for pharmacy technicians to register with the New
Jersey Board of Pharmacy, the Board on February 19th notfied the public that
this deadline has been extended to December 1, 2008.
These
registration forms are now available online for all pharmacy technicians to
submit to the Board for registration. Pharmacy stores should now be
receiving notices from the Board of the new registration deadline for their
technicians.

convenience, below is a link to the NJBOP website's location for the
pharmacy technicians registration application process.
DON'T WAIT TO
HAVE YOUR TECHNICIANS SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS. This registration proces
requires a background check, which will take several weeks. Applicant who
wait to apply right before the December 1st deadline will not be registered
in time for the new December 1st deadline.
