Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this program the participant will be able to: · Describe the history of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology in community pharmacy. · Evaluate their pharmacy in an effort to determine when and how IVR can be implemented. · List the groundwork/requirements of all new efficiencies and IVR applications. · Outline IVR add-on technologies, i.e. bin management, signature capture, POS and electronic signature systems. · Explain how IVR can be implemented to improve workflow, efficiency and productivity. · Define and describe patient messaging.
